From the opening whistle, it was clear that this would be a hard-fought match. Both teams came out with intensity and determination, eager to prove themselves on the pitch. The Khosa League, with a slight advantage given they have had a League running for 3 years were a threat but Siniya League which is just starting wasn’t bothered by the feat and quickly took an early lead with Eng. Antelo Namara’s well-placed shot from just outside the box a few minutes after the kickoff. However, the Khosa League refused to be intimidated by the early lead. They quickly regrouped and began to apply pressure of their own. The pressure, however, only kept Siniya League players at bay during the first half as it was 0-1 in favour of Siniya League by Halftime.
