Lt. Col. Namanya, an OB of 1984-1990 and a brother to another Musiniya & former Head Prefect Nkwasiibwe Benson Rwebandira aka Nkwaben is our topic this time.
The genius in him, like any other alumni of the only Siniya, just couldn’t go unnoticed at the Senior Command Course that was completed on 30th June 2022 at Kimaka where he was the best all rounder student.

James Akabwai presided over a very successful period (1994-1998) in the History of Siniya. I was lucky to belong to what he called his true cohort, those he started with from S1 – S4 and when the O Level results were returned, we had scoped position No. 37 in the Country rankings. This history is his and will never be erased.
We have had detractors of our causes from time to time, aiming to destroy the seed of hope from which the Siniya Alumni Forum began. Yet, with his great wit, generosity and love for #TheOnlySiniya, Prof. Emmanuel Mutebile often steered us to the shelter of safety. He showed by his example, that it was possible to live “in the world” but not be “of the world”.
